If you are reading this, you are probably in the market to buy or sell a home.  Most people only do this once or twice in a lifetime, so choosing the right agent to work with you is extremely important.

Buying or selling a home is a very personal thing, and it is one of the biggest, if not the biggest investment you will make, both financially and emotionally.  You want an agent that you like, and one you can trust with the important details of the process.  Someone who will be as invested in you and the process of buying or selling your home as you are.  And of course you’ll want an agent that is really in the business of real estate:  working with buyer’s and seller’s daily, who has their finger on the pulse of the market by virtue of being in the market every day.

But how do you know if the agent you choose is the right one for you?

It is beneficial to meet with any potential agent, ask questions and compare.       

Sellers:  Let me share with you my list of 21 Questions that you as a seller should ask before listing your home for sale.  These are questions I would want my family to ask of agents they were interviewing (if I wasn’t in the business!)  And these are questions I look forward to answering and discussing with you.

Buyers:  Sit down with an agent and ask them questions – what do you need to do to be ready to purchase a home, what is the process, and how will they help you through that process?  Let me share with you my Buyer’s Packet with loads of information that will help make you the seller’s buyer of choice!

Do you feel comfortable with the agent?  Do you like the person?  Do they know the answers to your questions, and follow up with you on the one’s they don’t?  Most importantly – what does your gut say?
